How it is made

No mystery,
no shortcuts.

We believe the people closest to the process should be the ones telling the story. Here is exactly how our products are made.

The approach

Where honey heritage
meets skincare science.

At Generation Bee, our journey began with a deep appreciation for the natural power of honey, beeswax, and pollen, and the nourishing ingredients found in nature. That passion continues to inspire every product we create.

While our honey is carefully handcrafted in our commercial kitchen, our luxury skincare products are thoughtfully formulated in a professional clean room environment. Each formula is developed with precision, using carefully selected natural ingredients and a commitment to quality, purity, and performance.

We believe skincare should be more than a routine. It should be a luxurious experience rooted in nature, backed by science, and crafted with care.

The beekeeper

Meet Michael.

Michael isn't a cosmetic chemist by training. He is something rarer, a beekeeper who looked at the skincare industry and asked a completely different question.

Not how do we make this more effective, but why are we using ingredients on our skin that are not safe?

That question led him to the kitchen. And the kitchen led to Generation Bee.

The craftsman

Meet Harry.

Just like Michael, Harry isn't a cosmetic chemist by training either. He is a trained culinary professional who has worked in the restaurant industry for thirty years. He brings the precision, discipline, and technical knowledge from that background to the art of small batch skincare.

He is also the artist behind our handcrafted honey flavor profiles.

The standard

The EWG and
YUKA standard.

Here is the rule Michael works by: every ingredient in a Generation Bee product must meet EWG and YUKA standards.

That means no synthetic preservatives, no petrochemical fillers, no mystery compounds with six syllable names that exist solely to extend shelf life or cut costs.

If it does not pass their standard and fall into the green category, it does not belong on your skin.

This isn't a marketing position. It is a formulation constraint, one that makes our job harder and our products genuinely different.

The skincare industry has very low standards for what goes into a product. We decided to hold ourselves to a much higher standard.

The ingredients

What goes in.

Honey

Raw, traceable, from our own hives. Antibacterial and humectant, and the ingredient that ties everything back to where we started.

Beeswax

A natural emulsifier and barrier, straight from the hive.

Cold pressed plant oils

Selected for skin compatibility, not cost efficiency.

Essential botanicals

Used at meaningful concentrations, not trace amounts added for the label.

The batch

Small batch,
on purpose.

Generation Bee products are made in small batches. Not because we haven't figured out how to scale, but because small batches are how you maintain quality when you are working without synthetic stabilizers.

Each batch is mixed by hand, checked for consistency, and assessed before it goes anywhere near a jar. There is no automated line. There is no outsourced production. Harry makes it, Harry checks it, and Harry stands behind it.

When the batch is right, it ships. When it isn't, it doesn't. That is the whole quality control system.

The why

Why this matters.

The skincare industry is enormous, opaque, and almost entirely disconnected from the people who buy its products. Ingredients are obscured. Processes are hidden. Claims are inflated.

Generation Bee is a direct rebuttal to all of that.

We show you the clean room and the kitchen because we have nothing to hide. We use the highest quality ingredients because we believe your skin deserves the same scrutiny as your food. We keep Michael and Harry's names on the process because accountability is part of the process.

You can't get this from a brand that outsources its formulations to a white label manufacturer. You can only get it from a family that genuinely cares what goes on your skin, and can prove it.

The honey

The honey connection.

Everything comes back to the bees.

The honey in our products comes from our family apiary, and the honey in our jars is a blend from our hives and a migratory beekeeper who has dedicated his life to caring for thousands of hives and supporting essential pollination across the country.

That is not a coincidence, it is the whole philosophy. We started with exceptional raw honey and asked: what else can we make with this?

The answer is a luxury skincare line incorporating the honey, beeswax, and pollen from our family apiary.

No other skincare brand can say that, because no other skincare brand started where we did.

The difference

Transparency is
our differentiator.

We are not trying to compete with the big luxury houses on packaging or prestige. We are competing on truth.

The full ingredient list is on every product. The process is on this page. The people behind it have names and faces. And if you ever have a question about what is in something or why, you can ask us directly and get a real answer.

That is what Generation Bee is. A skincare brand with nothing to hide and everything to show.
